Thomas Storry Robinson, 1894-1918

BORN HULL 1894 SON OF MRS MARY ANN DEALTRY BLAKER (1857-1935) AND ROBERT WILLIAM ROBINSON (1854-1902), OF 19, FERN GROVE, NORTHUMBERLAND AVENUE, HULL AND 23, WESTMORELAND STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE HAD ONE BROTHER AND FIVE SISTERS. HE WAS EMPLOYED AS A TIME KEEPER AT A COMPUND CAKE FACTORY.

HE ENLISTED AT HULL. SERVED AS LANCE CORPORAL, 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 28/05/1918, AGED 23. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, MARY ANN DEALTRY. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE SOISSONS MEMORIAL, AISNE, FRANCE. HIS MEDALS WERE UNCLAIMED AND DISPOSED OF ON 04/07/1921.

HIS ONLY BROTHER, ROBERT TILSON ROBINSON, FORMER EYR, DIED OF CONSUMPTION, IN 1921, AGED 29.
