Robinson, Tom George

Withernsea WW1 Memorial, Queens Street. The memorial was erected in 1923 at a cost of £451, the funds for which were collected through public subscription. A service of dedication was held in 1924. Inscribed in four columns, are the names of sixty-four men killed in World War I.

HUSBAND OF ADELE W. ROBINSON LIVED AT 19, ZETLAND STREET, ST GEORGES ROAD, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS).

SERVED WITH THE CANADIAN FORCES, (31st Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment). DIED OF ENTERIC FEVER, 25/04/1919, AGED 46.

BURIED HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.  THIS WAS HIS CANADIAN WAR RECORDS ADDRESS.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE WW1 MEMORIAL AT ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, NEWINGTON, HULL.

HE IS ALSO COMMEMORATED ON THE WITHERNSEA WW1 MEMORIAL.
