HE ENLISTED HULL. JOINED THE 7TH EYR WHICH WAS FORMED IN BEVERLEY ON 16/09/1914. LANDED IN FRANCE, WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, ON 14/07/1915. PROMOTED SERGEANT. DIED OF WOUNDS ON 13/11/1915, AGED 32. BURIED BELGIUM.
HE LEFT FAMILY – ARTHUR, ADA, FRANCES, ETHEL & TOM ROBSON. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW ANN.
