ENLISTED HULL, ON 10/12/1915 . SERVED AS A VICKERS MACHINE GUNNER, WITH THE MACHINE GUN CORPS. DIED OF PNEUMONIA, ON 12/11/1918, AGED 21. BURIED AT ETAPLES, FRANCE. HE HAD SERVED IN THE ARMY FOR 2 YEARS AND 238 DAYS.
