Enlisted Hull. Served as a Sapper, in the Royal Engineers. Killed in action, on 26/03/1918, aged 28. His death was reported in the Hull Daily Mail, on 28/01/1919.
His army effects and war pension went to his widow, Ethel Sharp, at 158, Chiltern Street, Hull
His name is listed on the St Johns Baptist Church WW1 Roll of Honour, with Charles Albert Sharp.
