Served in the Royal Garrison Artillery, 29th Siege Bty. Died of dysentery, on active service, 09/09/1918, aged 36.
Buried in France, His CWGC grave inscription, reads, “HE SLEEPS WITH ENGLAND’S HEROES IN THE WATCHFUL CARE OF GOD”
