HE HAD TWO BROTHERS AND ONE SISTER. HE WORKED AS A PLATER’S MATE (RIVETT HEATER). RESIDED AT 13, WINNIE’S PLACE, ST JAMES STREET, HULL (ARMY ADDRESS).

HIS ELDER BROTHER, HERBERT SNOWDEN, SERVED WITH THE 6TH EYR, AND WAS KILLED AT GALLIPOLI, ON 22/08/1915, AGED 22. BOTH ARE LISTED ON HULL’S WALKER STREET WW1 MEMORIAL. BOTH WAR PENSIONS WENT TO THEIR MOTHER, ADA, AT 45 WALKER STREET, HULL.
