BORN HULL 13/2/1883. SON OF ELIZABETH & JOHN GEORGE SOULSBY, OF25 RUGBY STREET, HULL (HDM 12/03/1917). HE WAS A MARINE ENGINEER LIKE HIS FATHER AND WORKED FOR KELSALL BROS & BEECHING, AT ALBERT DOCK AND ST ANDREWS DOCK, HULL. HE WAS REPORTED LOST AT SEA BY OTHER CREW MEMBERS. HIS BODY WAS WASHED ASHORE AND HE WAS BURIED IN HULL. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 13TH MARCH 1917 WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
