HE ENLISTED HULL. SERVED IN THE 8TH KING’S OWN ROYAL LANCASTER REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION. ON 13/04/1918, AGED 31. COMMEMORATED ON THE PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL, BELGIUM.
HIS NAME IS ALSO LISTED ON ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH ROLL OF HONOUR, NEWINGTON, HULL.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 30/04/1918.
