Stainforth, Eric Fowler

Born Hull 1899. Son of George Edwin and Sarah Ann Staniforth, of 62, Colonial St Hull (1911 Census) and 50, Derringham Street, Hull (CWGC address).

He enlisted in Hull. Served in the 1/6th Seaforth Highlanders. Died of wounds, on 07/04/1918, aged 20.

He is buried at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France. His grave reads, GOD HAS TAKEN THE LOVED ONE FROM OUR HOME BUT NEVER FROM OUR HEARTS
