BORN HULL 1896. ELDEST SON OF JOHN GEORGE & GERTRUDE STORR, OF 7 ARLINGTON VILAS, PERTH STREET, HULL. HE HAD ONE BROTHER, GEORGE CHISTOPHER STORR. HE RESIDED WITH HIS AUNTIE, BLANCHE LEVITT, AT 2, EDOM VILLAS, MAYFIELD STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). WORKED AS A LABOURER FOR HARTGREAVES, BLUE AND BLACK LEAD WORKS, AT 59 ARGYLL STREET, HULL (ARMY ADDRESS)

HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 18/06/1814. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 7 INCHES TALL, 35 INCH CHEST SIZE, GOOD VISION AND PHYSIQUE. FORMERLY PRIVATE, 1899, 4TH  EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 17/04/1915. RETURNED TO ENGLAND , ON 21/08/1915 AND REPOSTED TO FRANCE, ON 30/10/1916. TRANSFERRED TO THE 2ND WEST RIDING REGIMENT, ON 30/10/1916. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 03/05/1917, AGED 21. HE HAD SERVED IN THE ARMY FOR TWO YEARS AND 320 DAYS.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 06/07/1917. UNMARRIED. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOWED MOTHER, WHO MOVED TO SHEFFIELD.
