EMIGATED TO AUSTRALIA AND ARRIVED IN BRISBANE, ON 04/06/1914. WORKED AS A LABOURER. ENLISTED AT BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, ON 25/09/1915, AGED 27 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT 8 INCHES TALL, 10 STONE & 10 LBS WEIGHT, 35 INCH CHEST, GREY EYES, LIGHT BROWN HAIR, TATTOO OF BUTTERFLY ON HIS RIGHT ARM AND A BIRD TATTOO ON HIS LEFT ARM.
