HIS FATHER AND BROTHERS WERE BUTCHERS, IN THE SEACROFT AREA OF LEEDS. ENLISTED LEEDS. SERVED IN FRANCE FROM 01/09/1915. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 25/07/1916. COMMEMORATED ON THE THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
