Served with the 1st East Yorks Volunteers, before WW1. Married at St Paul Church, Hull, on 28 Dec 1905. Husband of Kate Tennison. Son Leonard McAllister and daughter, Dora Catherin. Lived at 18, Tavistock Street, Hull (War pension address). Enlisted 24 July 1916. Posted to France on 27 Dec 1916. Discharged on 29 Feb 1919.
