Born Reighton, Yorkshire, 1893. Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Dolphin, of Lissett, Lowthorpe, Driffield, Yorkshire (War Pension Address).
Resided Bridlington. Enlisted at Bridlington. Worked as a Farm Horseman. Served with the 1st Essex Regiment. Died of wounds, on 15/11/1917, aged 24. His grave inscription reads, “Thy Will Be Done”.
