Cruiser, built by Hall, Russell & Co. Ltd., Aberdeen in 1898 and owned at the time of her loss by T. Devlin Jr., Granton, was a British trawler of 146 tons. On May 2nd, 1915, Cruiser was sunk by gunfire by the German submarine U-41 (Claus Hansen), 50 miles southeast of Aberdeen. 4 persons were lost.
