Born Hull 1892. Hull Pal. Enlisted September 1914. He worked for Wilson Ltd, from leaving school. Son of Susan Walton & the late John Henry Walton of 7 Cornwall Gardens, Brunswick Avenue, Hull. Buried in Fauboug Damiens Cemetery. Arras. His photo appears in the Hull Daily Mail 7th April 1917. His parents visited Fred’s grave in 1919, and reported details of other Hull men’s graves, killed in March 1917. (HDM 19/08/19)
