BORN HULL 1889. SON OF HENRY WARVILL (1847-1917) AND EMMA PULLEN (1844-1902).

MARRIED, AT HULL, IN  1910 – HIS WIFE ETHEL ACKROYD (1892 – ) & TWO CHILDREN, LIVED AT 117, CHILTERN STREET, HULL, 64, SUBWAY STREET, HESSLE ROAD, HULL AND LATER 33, LIME STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).

A COUNCIL LABOURER. HE WORKED  FOR THE HULL CORPORATION ENGINEERS DEPARTMENT.

HE HAD SERVED IN THE 2ND EAST RIDING, ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY (ER RGA), FROM 25/06/1907 – 31/03/1911.

RE- ENLISTED IN HULL AT THE OUTBREAK OF WAR, AND RETURNED AS A GUNNER IN THE 2ND ER RGA. DISCHARGED AS UNFIT, ON 02/12/1914.

HE DIED OF TUBERCULOSIS, ON 01/07/1915, AGED 26. BURIED IN HULL.

HIS NAME WAS LISTED ON THE SUBWAY STREET ROLL OF HONOUR AS ‘DIED AT HOME’. HE DOES NOT HAVE A CWGC GRAVE.
