BORN HULL 1896. YOUNGEST SON OF WILLIAM WEBSTER & CHARLOTTE WEBSTER (1860-1924), AT 26, PEASE STREET, HULL AND 36, PEARSON STREET, PROSPECT STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE HAD TWO BROTHERS AND THREE SISTERS.

WAS A FORMER WHEELER STREET SCHOLAR AND A CLEANER FOR THE NORTH EASTERN RAILWAYS. ALSO A MEMBER OF THE HULL & DISTRICT DRUIDS ORDER, WHICH HAD 1,096 MEMBERS SERVING IN THE WAR.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE 1/4TH EAST YORKSHIRE TERRITORIALS. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 02/05/1915, AT ST JULIAN, DURING THE SECOND BATTLE OF YPRES. HE WAS AGED 20. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, CHARLOTTE, WHO ENDED AT THE SCULCOATES WORKHOUSE, HULL (WAR PENSION RECORDS).

HIS DEATH & PHOTOGRAPH WERE REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 28TH MAY 1915, ON THE 9TH AUGUST 1915, AND IN THE HULL TIMES ON 29TH MAY 1915. *
