WORKED AS A TRAIN BOOKER, IN SIGNAL BOX. ENLISTED NORMANTON. SERVED WITH THE 3RD KING’S OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY. DIED AT SUTTON, NEAR HULL, ON 15/06/1915, AGED 19. HIS NAME IS RECORDED ON HULL’S BLENHEIM STREET ROLL OF HONOUR AS MACHINE GUN SECTION.
HIS BROTHER, ABLE SEAMAN, JOHN BLACKER WIGGLESWORTH, ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION, DRAKE BATTALION, WAS KILLED AT GALLIPOLI, ON 06/05/1915, AGED 23. HIS OTHER BROTHER, ALBERT EDWARD WIGGLESWORTH SERVED IN THE MACHINE GUN CORPS.
