Wildgoose, Herbert Eustace

Born Canterbury, Kent 1888. Son of Mrs Annie Rowe, of 12, Marine Parade, Hythe, Folkestone, Kent (War pension address) A regular soldier, serving  in India, with the 2nd Black Watch (1911 Census). (Soldier Died 1914-1918 records state that he was born in Aldershot, Hampshire)

He enlisted in Hull when war began. Served in the Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) 2nd Bn. Killed in action, on 09/05/1915, aged 24, Buried at Le Touret Cemetery, France.

His army effects were left to his mother.
