Born Edinburgh, Scotland, 1899. Resided at Howden. Son of Walter Richard and Annie Fulton Wray, of Hailgate, Howden, Yorkshire.

Enlisted in Hull. Formerly, Private, 22293, East Yorkshire Regiment, and 4607, Highland Light Infantry. Transferred to the 16th The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment). Killed in action, on 12/04/1918, aged 19. Buried in France. His grave reads, HE DIED FOR ALL AT REST.
