BORN HULL 1888. LIVED IN GOOLE. HE ENLISTED IN GOOLE. SERVED IN THE 6TH KING’S OWN YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. HE DIED OF WOODS AT LONDON MILITARY HOSPITAL. ON 17/08/1915, AGED 27. HE IS BURIED AT GOOLE CEMETERY, YORKSHIRE. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO MRS SOPHIA GRASSBY.
