Arthur and Stanley Blagg, from Hessle Hull, enlisted as teenagers in the Hull Pals. Arthur was killed with the 12th East Yorkshire regiment, at Oppy Wood, on 3rd May 1917, aged 21. His brother Stanley, was killed the following year in August 1918, aged 19.
