Bacon, Henry George

BORN CHELSEA 1867. GEORGE AND SUSAN BACON. HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN LIVED AT 13 CURZON STREET, HULL. IN 1915 HE HELPED RESCUE 50 FRENCH SOLDIERS FROM THEIR SUNKEN TRANSPORT ON THE WAY TO ALGIERS. HE WAS PRAISED AND PHOTOGRAPHED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 24/11/1918. *
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HDM 17/11/1917 & ON 18/11/1918.

HIS SON SERVE IN THE ARMY AND TWO OF HIS DAUGHTERS WERE NURSES. HDM 07/12/1915.
