Brealey, Arthur John

Born Hull 1894. Son of Arthur & Jane, of 53, Blake Street, Hull (War Pension address). Prior to enlisting he was a Thomas Wilson & Son Employee. He enlisted in the Hull Commercials in September 1914. Saw service in Egypt and France. Wounded in June 1916. Transferred to the 7th EYR. Killed at Arras, on 12/05/1917, aged 23.

His death was reported in the Hull Daily Mail on 22nd March 1918, with his photograph. *

His brothers Lieutenant, A. Brealey was wounded & Bomb. H. Brealey served in Italy.
