MICHAEL LIKE HIS BROTHERS, WERE GENERAL LABOURERS (1911 CENSUS).

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 20/01/1915. KILLED IN ACTION ON 16/09/1916, AGED 21.

HIS NAME IS LISTED ON ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, ROLL OF HONOUR, JARRATT STREET, HULL WITH HIS TWO BROTHERS.
