BORN HULL 23/2/1883. SON OF JOSEPH BRIGGS & EMILY (BRIDLE). WIFE BEATRICE (NORTHARD) LIVED ABOVE. BROTHER OSCAR CHARLES BRIGGS DIED 28/11/18 – GRIMSBY.

On September 29th, 1914, the British iron fishing ship SALVIA, on her way from Grimsby to the faroese fishing grounds, was last spoken to and went missing. She was not heard of ever since. 10 crew were lost, including these Hull men.
