BORN HULL 1890. SON OF JOHN THOMAS & FANNY (TONG) FENTON. UPHOLSTERER. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 21ST APRIL 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. * HIS BROTHER, JOHN FENTON, WAS KILLED AT HELLES. HIS PARENTS HAD LOST BOTH AND ONLY SONS. HIS NAME WAS RECORDED ON THE WAR MEMORIAL AT ST THOMAS CHURCH, CAMPBELL STREET, WHICH WAS DESTROYED IN AN AIR RAID DURING WW2.
