BORN SUTTON 1894. SON OF EDWARD GOOD (1856-1909) & LUCY RACHEL GOOD, OF RISEHOLME VILLA, SUTTON ON HULL, HULL. HIS MOTHER WAS WELSH, AND LATER REMARRIED. HE HAD FIVE BROTHERS AND THREE SISTERS.

A TYPE CAST MECHANICE, LIVING AT 3 DESMOND AVENUE, NEWLAND, HULL (1911 CENSUS). HE BECAME A WIRELESS OPERATOR.

HE ENLISTED AT LEEDS, ON 07/08/1914. SERVED IN THE ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS, ATTACHED TO THE 5TH/6TH BATTALION, SCOTTISH RIFLES.
DIED OF WOUNDS, AT LAMBETH, SURREY, ON 06/02/1920, AGED 25. BURIED AT BROOKWOOD MILITARY CEMETERY, WOKING, SURREY.

HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “DUTY HONOUR SERVICE, SACRIFICE SUFFERING, REST”.
HE NOT LISTED ON SUTTON VILLIAGE MEMORIAL.
