HIS WIFE, FLORENCE (FENWICK), LIVED AT 6 THORNHILL AVENUE, BOURNEMOUTH STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS)AND AT 9 TEMPERANCE BUILDINGS, SWANN STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION & CWGC ADDRESS). THEY HAD THREE SONS, HARRY, GEORGE AND FRED AND THREE DAUGHTERS, ENID, LAURA AND LENA.

HE ENLISTED HULL. TRANSFERRED TO ROYAL AIR FORCE, ON 18/08/1918. DIED OF INFLUENZA AND PNEUMONIA, WHILE ON ACTIVE SERVICE, ON 22/01/1919, AGED 44. BURIED HEDON ROAD CEMETERY.

HIS WIDOW, FLORRIE AND SIX CHILDREN WERE AWARDED A WEEKLY PENSION, OF 42 SHILLINGS, FROM 23/07/1919.
