Born Hull, 1894. Son of Ann and Harry Kent, of 2 Railway Cottages, Beeton Street, Hull (1901 census) and 12, Railway Cottages, Norwood, Beverley, Yorks. Son of a railway porter. Walter worked as a Farm Horseman, in Lund (1911 Census). He enlisted in Beverley, Served as Gunner, 75074, Royal Field Artillery. Killed in action, on 13/08/1916, aged 22. Unmarried. His army effects were left to his father Harry, at this Pension Ledger address.
