Born Hull 1900. Only Son of Thomas and Annie Elixabeth Maplesden, at 3, Edward’s Terrace Massey Street (1911 Census) and 5, Walter’s Terrace, Scarborough Street, Hull (War Pension address). Son of a Slate Worker. He had four younger sisters, Hilda, Martha, Annie and Lilian.
Served in the Coldstream Guards. Discharged on 19 Feb 1921. Died on 28 Mar 1921
