BORN HULL 1894. SON OF FREDERICK WALTER PAGE & FLORENCE PAGE (1863-1945), OF 641, SPRING BANK WEST, HULL AND 95, ALLIANCE AVENUE, HULL (ARMY ADDRESS). SON OF A COAL MERCHANT CLERK. HE WORKED AS A SHIPPING CLERK. HE HAD ONE OLDER BROTHER, FREDERICK AND ONE SISTER, FLORENCE.

ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 04/09/1914. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 7.5 INCHES TALL, 34- 26 INCH CHEST, 124 LBS WEIGHT. HE JOINED THE HULL PALS. SERVED IN EGYPT AND FRANCE. QUALIFIED AS A FIRST CLASS SIGNALLER, ON 30/11/1915. DIED OF WOUNDS ON 19/08/1916, AGED 22. HE HAD SERVED FOR 1 YEAR AND 351 DAYS.
