BORN HULL 1886. SON OF THOMAS JOHN EAST PARKINSON (1851-1926) & CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH PARKINSON (1854-1940), OF 5, TICHBOURNE TERRACE, BEAN STREET, HULL AND 58, WALLIKER STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS). SON OF A GROCER WAREHOUSEMAN. HE HAD FOUR BROTHERS AND TWO SISTERS. A SINGLE MAN. HE WORKED AS A RAILWAY CLERK AND LIVED AT, 58, WALLIKER STREET, HULL

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 12TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS. DIED ON 30/07/1916, AGED 30. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL, FRANCE. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER CHARLOTTE. THERE ARE NO WAR PENSION RECORDS. HIS MEDALS WERE UNCLAIMED AND DISPOSED OF 21ST NOVEMBER 1921.
