BORN PATRINGTON, 02/05/1881. SON OF FENNELL PARROTT (1846-1924) & ANN ELIZA WATSON (1846-1948), OF “FIELD HOUSE”, PATRINGTON. HE HAD FIVE SISTERS AND TWO BROTHERS.

HE MARRIED RHODA SNAITH (1885-1969), AT PATRINGTON, IN JULY 1911.  HIS WIFE RHODA (SNAITH) PARROTT, LIVED AT BROCKVILLE HOUSE, PATRINGTON HULL A FISHING SKIPPER. SERVED IN THE ROYAL NAVAL RESERVE, ON THE MINESWEEPING TRAWLER, “ASCOT”. DIED AT SEA ON 10/11/1918, THE DAY BEFORE WAR ENDED, AGED 37. HE LEFT £459 IN HIS WILL, TO HIS WIFE AT THIS PROBATE ADDRESS.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE PATRINGTON WW1 MEMORIAL AND AT ST PATRICK’S CHURCH.

HIS BROTHER, JAMES ARTHUR PARROTT, A HUMBER PILOT, DROWNED WITH HIS 19 YEAR OLD SON, IN THE HUMBER, ON 24/11/1916, AGED 44.
