COMMISSIONED INTO THE WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT IN 1914. SERVED AS FIRST LIEUTENANT, IN THE 4TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 11/05/1915, AGED 35.
