He Enlisted in Hull. Formerly 5041, Northumberland Fusiliers. Transferred to the 2nd South Wales Borderers. Died of wounds, on 03/07/1916, aged 33.
His army effects were left to his brother, Samuel Stephenson, at Meandow Lane; Driffield
