Served as a Gunner in the “D” Bty. 266th Bde Royal Field Artillery. Died on 15/10/1917, aged 21. Buried at Cement House cemetery, Belgium. His grave inscription reads, “ASLEEP IN JESUS TILL WE MEET AGAIN”
