BORN HULL 1868. SON OF HENRY & LUCY ANN WARRENER, HULL.  A DOCK LABOURER (1911 CENSUS). HE ENLISTED AT HULL ON 07/12/1914, GIVING THE YOUNGER AGE OF 37 YEARS AND 11 MONTHS. HIS FIRST WIFE HANNAH SIZER DIED ON 23/10/1915 AND HE WAS LIVING WITH SARAH JANE JONES, AND HER FOUR CHILDREN, AT 151 ST PAULS STREET, HULL (ARMY ADDRESS). HIS MEDICAL RECORDS DESCRIBE HIM AS 5 FOOT 4.25 INCHES TALL, 37 INCH CHEST.

HE SERVED AS DRIVER, ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, IN FRANCE, SALONIKA & PALESTINE. DISCHARGED AFTER 3 YEARS AND 285 DAYS IN THE ARMY, ON 17/09/1918, HE WAS AWARDED A PERMANENT DISABILITY PENSION. AND THE SILVER WAR BADGE.  HE DIED ON 02/06/1920, AGED 52. HE IS BURIED AT HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.
