HE WAS A FLOUR MILL LABOURER. SINGLE MAN.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A TROOPER, IN THE 18TH QUEEN MARY ‘S OWN HUSSARS, HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY. KILLED IN ACTION, DURING THE GERMAN SPRING OFFENSIVE ON 22/03/1918, AGED 22. HIS FATHER, JAMES WOOD, RECEIVED HIS ARMY EFFECTS.
