BORN ST MARY’S, COUNTY DURHAM 1893. SON OF CHARLES HENRY WILLIAMSON (1863-1917) & AMELIA MARLOW (1866-1942), OF VICTOR STREET AND 52 KENT STREET, HOLDERNES ROAD, HULL.. ONE OF ELEVEN CHILDREN. A BRICKLAYER. ENLISTED AT HULL. JOINED THE EAST RIDING ENGINEERS ON 03/05/1913. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 17/09/1915. TRANSFERRED TO THE 529TH ROYAL ENGINEERS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 21/05/1917, AGED 24. BURIED AT ETAPLES. HE SERVED IN THE ARMY FOR 3 YEARS AND 353 DAYS. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, AMELIA AT 52 KENT STREET, HULL. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 21/05/1917.
