BORN HULL 1897. SON OF ROBERT WILLIAM WATSON (1862-1926) & CHARLOTTE PRICE (1863-1955), OF 21, PARK VIEW, MELWOOD GROVE, HULL AND 6, BROOKSIDE VILLAS, GRANGE STREET, HULL. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND SIX SISTERS. SON OF AN OIL MILLER.

HE ENLISTED HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 26/08/1918, AGED 20.

HE IS BURIED AT WARLENCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY, PAS DE CALAIS, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, MRS CHARLOTTE WATSON, WHO MOVED TO 6 BROOKSIDE VILLAS, GRANGE STREET, HULL.(PENSION LEDGER ADDRESS). HIS NAME IS INSCRIBED ON THE PILLARS OF ST MARY’S CHURCH SCULCOATES, LANE, HULL.
