Born Hull, 1890. Son of George Gould and Mary Jane Bishop, of 48, De La Pole Avenue, Hull. Son of a Hull seaman. He was the youngest of four sons.
Served as Private, 205206, East Yorkshire Regiment. Discharged on 7th June 1919. Awarded the Silver War Badge (N0:B237739). Died at Hull, on 26/08/1922, aged 32.
