Born West Ham, Essex, 1892. Son of Harry and Eliza Hutchence, of 1, Mitcheldever Road, Winchester Street, Whitchurch, Hampshire.
He resided and enlisted in Hull. Formerly 56725, R.G.A. transferred to the 15th Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action, on 09/05/1917, aged 25.
Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France. Unmarried. His army effects were left to his mother, Eliza.
His only brother Harry served in the Royal Navy and drowned on 20/02/1920.
