Born 1880. Son of William George Creighton (1846-1907) and Matilda Wilkinson (1849-1899). he was one of 15 children.
Married at Sculcoates, Hull 1910. Husband of Lucy Hayes (1883-1982), at 4, Woodcock Street, Hull and 9, Emma’s Terrace, Marmaduke Street, Hull (War Pension addresses). They had one daughter, Alice, born on 13 Nov 1914. He worked as a box maker.
Enlisted 14 Feb 1917. Served in the Durham Light Infantry, and Labour Corps. Discharged on 12 Dec 1917. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No:302263). Died on 11 Feb 1923, aged 43
