Son of Francis Hopkins and Margaret Ann Dodds.
He married at Hull, in 1911. Husband of Eliza Fox Hopkins of Humber Dock Street, Hull (War pension address)
Served in the Royal Naval Voluntary Reserve. He was an Able Seaman, on HMS Malaya at the Battle of Jutland. Died on 29 May 1923, aged 34.
