Married at Hull, in 1910. Husband of Lily (born 27/2/1889), at 17, Buckingham Terrace, Buckingham Street, Hull (1911 Census) and 1, Cleveland Avenue, Holderness Road, Hull (War Pension address). He was a Labourer in Oil Mill.
Enlisted at Chiswick. Served in the 2nd Bn. East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action, on 06/05/1915. Commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial, Belgium.
