Married at Hull in 1915. Husband of Ada Dunkerley Smith, of 4, Ivy Terrace, Barnsley Street, Hull (War Pension Address).
Served in the 1/4th East Yorkshire Regiment. Posted to France, on 27/10/1915. Discharged with sickness, on 23/12/1916. Awarded the Silver War Badge No: 179473). Died of Bright’s Disease, on 16/11/1920, aged 30.
