Buried at Gurards Cemetery, LesBoeufes, France. His army effects were left to his widow, sarah.
His brother, Private, David Woodward, 5th Wiltshire Regiment, was injured at gallipoli and died of wounds, in Egypt, on 15 August 1915, aged 35.
